Used to be a great app

I previously would have given this app a 5-star rating. I liked the big, easy to read display and it worked great. But recently the app changed and now it is constantly taking me to the App Store to advertise other apps.
I used this app for performance timing of functions for my job but I can no longer use it. It is too difficult for me to click the stop button and get precise timings when the app is no longer on screen since it keeps taking me to the App Store. Banner adds within the app are fine, but stop opening the App Store over top of the app. That one downfall has made the app completely useless for me now.
